About Sweden 30
The OMX Stockholm 30 (OMXS30) is Sweden's leading equity benchmark, tracking the 30 most-traded shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. It is a market-capitalisation-weighted index calculated by Nasdaq, and its composition is reviewed periodically so it keeps reflecting the most actively traded names. Brokers and data feeds often list it as Sweden 30. The level is quoted in index points on a Swedish krona basis.
Sweden's large caps are dominated by global industrial and engineering groups, telecom-equipment makers, banks, investment companies and consumer brands, and most earn the bulk of their revenue abroad. The index therefore tracks the world manufacturing cycle and European growth closely, and a weaker krona tends to lift exporters' reported profits. Riksbank interest-rate decisions drive the banks and the property-exposed names, and futures and options on the OMXS30 trade on Nasdaq Stockholm's derivatives market.
The market for Sweden 30 is currently closed. At the last close it stood at 3,175.70, a move of +12.92 (+0.41%) versus the previous close of 3,162.78, after ranging between 3,148.54 and 3,175.98 over that session. FXMARE's technical engine currently reads the setup as Strong Sell.

Sweden 30 — frequently asked questions
What is the OMX Stockholm 30?
The OMX Stockholm 30, or OMXS30, is the benchmark index of the Swedish stock market, made up of the 30 most-traded shares on Nasdaq Stockholm and weighted by market capitalisation. Trading platforms often call it Sweden 30; that label refers to the same index. It is quoted in index points on a Swedish krona basis.
When does the Stockholm stock market trade?
Nasdaq Stockholm's continuous trading runs from 09:00 to 17:25 Stockholm time, Monday to Friday, followed by a closing auction that ends at about 17:30. Sweden uses daylight saving, so in UTC the session is 08:00 to 16:30 in winter and 07:00 to 15:30 in summer. The exchange closes on Swedish public holidays, including Midsummer Eve.
What moves the OMXS30?
Most of its large members are exporters, so global industrial demand, European growth and trade conditions matter most. The krona works as a lever: a weaker currency raises the value of foreign earnings when they are reported in kronor. Riksbank policy moves the banks and rate-sensitive names, and quarterly results from the heaviest constituents can shift the whole index.
What does the Sweden 30 52-week range show?
The 52-week range is the lowest low and the highest high Sweden 30 printed across the past 52 weeks of daily bars, so it shows where the current price sits relative to that year's extremes. Computed from FXMARE's daily price history, the current 52-week range is 2,655.36 – 3,349.50.
