FXMARE is supported in part by advertising, which helps keep our data, tools and research free to read. We think advertising should be obvious, never disguised as editorial. This page explains how we label ads, the difference between the placement types you may see, how we handle sponsored content, and — most importantly — why advertisers have no say over what we publish.
Every paid placement on FXMARE is identified as such. Standard ad units carry a clear "Advertisement"label (or an equivalent such as "Ad" or "Sponsored") positioned with the unit, so you can always tell at a glance that the space is paid for rather than part of our editorial content.
We do this because the line between content and commerce should never be blurry. If a unit is paid, it says so. If you ever see a placement on FXMARE that looks like an ad but is not labelled, please report it using the contact details below so we can correct it.
You may encounter a few different types of paid placement on the site. They differ in how they look, but they share one rule: each is disclosed as advertising.
When a third party pays for content to be published, or to sponsor a piece, that content is clearly identified — for example with a "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership"label and, where relevant, a named sponsor. We do not publish "advertorial" that masquerades as independent editorial.
The rules we apply to paid content — what can and cannot be sponsored, how it is marked, what claims it may make, and how it is kept separate from our reviews and rankings — are set out in full in our Sponsored Content Policy. Please read it alongside this page for the complete picture.
Buying advertising on FXMARE does not buy influence over our editorial content. Advertisers and sponsors cannot review, approve, alter or veto our reviews, ratings, rankings, news, analysis or data. A brand spending money with us receives no better treatment in our coverage than one that spends nothing, and choosing not to advertise never results in worse coverage.
We keep a firm separation between our commercial team, who handle advertising and partnerships, and our editorial team, who decide what we publish. Where any commercial relationship is relevant to something we cover, we disclose it. You can read more about how we maintain that independence in our Editorial Policy, how broker scores are produced in our broker review methodology, and how our wider business model works in how we make money.
Promotional placements on FXMARE are currently first-party: they are selected contextually (based on the page you are viewing, never on a profile of you) and set no third-party advertising cookies. If we ever introduce third-party display advertising that uses cookies or similar technologies, we will ask for your consent first and update this disclosure and our Cookie Policy before it goes live.
We explain in detail what data is collected, who it may be shared with, and the lawful basis for using it in our Privacy Policy. You can review and control the cookies and tracking technologies used for advertising — including how to opt out of personalised ads where that option applies — through our Cookie Policy and the consent controls referenced there.
If you would like to reach an engaged audience of traders and investors, we offer display, native and sponsored placements across the site. All campaigns are subject to our labelling standards and editorial-independence rules described above — there are no exceptions.
