Forex Broker Fee Comparison 2026: Spreads, Commissions & All-In Cost per Lot

The ratings table on Compare Brokers ranks by overall score. This one ranks by what a trade costs. For every reviewed broker it puts the typical EUR/USD spread on the commission-free account, the raw-account spread plus its round-turn commission, and the resulting all-in cost of one standard lot side by side — cheapest first.

A dash means the broker’s review states that figure in a form this table cannot read reliably (for example a commission that varies per instrument), so nothing is shown rather than a guess. Hover any figure for the exact published wording. 50 of 50 brokers have a readable all-in cost; 0carry a “floor” marker, meaning the review quotes a “from” minimum under $3 rather than a typical cost.

How the all-in cost is worked out

On EUR/USD, one pip on one standard lot (100,000 units) is worth USD 10. So a raw account’s cost to open and close one lot is its spread in pips × 10, plus the round-turn commission; a commission-free account’s cost is simply its spread × 10. A broker quoting 0.1 pips plus $7 therefore costs $8 per lot, and one quoting 1.1 pips with no commission costs $11.

Commissions quoted per side are doubled. Where a review lists several commissions across account tiers, the one that applies to the rawaccount is used — never the “$0” of a commission-free tier listed alongside it, which would price a raw spread at nothing. Spreads are the typicalfigures each review publishes, not live quotes, and they widen around news and outside the London–New York overlap.

Anything under $3 per lot is marked floorand left out of the “cheapest” lists: it is a “from 0.0 pips” minimum, not a cost anyone typically pays, and ranking on it would reward the broker with the boldest marketing rather than the lowest bill.

What this table does not include, because the reviews do not record it per broker: overnight swap rates, slippage, execution speed, and deposit, withdrawal or inactivity fees. Those can outweigh a fraction of a pip for a swing trader, so read the review methodologyand the broker’s own fee schedule before choosing on cost alone.
