Editorial Policy

This policy explains how FXMARE produces, sources, reviews and corrects its content. It is the standard our authors and editors are held to, and the commitment we make to you. Last reviewed: June 2026.

Our Core Principles

Accuracy

Every figure, quote and claim is checked against a primary or reputable source before publication. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish it as fact.

Independence

Our analysis and ratings are editorially independent. No advertiser, sponsor or affiliate partner can buy a rating, kill a story or alter a conclusion.

Transparency

Content is attributed to the FXMARE editorial & research team, and commercial relationships are disclosed. Advertising is labelled and kept visually separate from editorial content.

Accountability

When we get something wrong, we correct it openly and promptly, and we make it easy for readers to flag errors.

How Our Content Is Produced

  1. 1
    Assignment

Stories and analysis are produced by our in-house editorial and research team, with topics assigned by coverage area across currencies, technicals, crypto and the economic-data calendar.

  2. 2
    Research & sourcing

Authors gather data from primary sources — central banks, statistical agencies, exchanges and regulated venues — and from established financial news wires. Every data point is attributed and dated.

  3. 3
    Drafting

The author writes the piece, stating assumptions, levels and risks explicitly. Analysis separates verifiable fact from opinion and forecast, and any trade idea includes its invalidation level.

  4. 4
    Editorial review

An editor reviews the draft for accuracy, clarity, balance and compliance with this policy. High-impact macro, broker and crypto coverage gets a second pair of eyes before it goes live.

  5. 5
    Fact-check & sign-off

Key figures and quotes are re-checked against source. Disclosures are confirmed. The piece is published with a byline, publication time and, where relevant, the date it was last reviewed.

  6. 6
    Monitoring & updates

Markets move. Where a piece covers a live situation, we update it as facts change and timestamp the update. Significant changes are noted in the article.

Sourcing & Verification

We prioritise primary sources. Market data and economic figures come from official releases, regulated venues and established providers; we then cross-check anything that could move markets before we publish. Quotes are taken from on-the-record statements and attributed clearly.

The sources we rely on most include:

  • Central banks and monetary authorities (Fed, ECB, BoE, BoJ and others)
  • Official statistical agencies and government data releases
  • Regulated exchanges, trading venues and clearing data
  • Regulator registers (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, FSCA) for any broker claim
  • Established financial news wires and primary company disclosures
  • On-chain data providers for verifiable crypto market metrics

Where data is illustrative or delayed, we say so. The market figures shown across FXMARE during this preview phase are clearly marked and are being replaced by live data providers.

Fact-Checking & Review

No author publishes unchecked. Drafts are reviewed by an editor for accuracy, balance and adherence to this policy. Our highest-impact coverage — central-bank decisions, major data releases, broker assessments and crypto market calls — requires a second editorial review before it is published.

We draw a hard line between fact, analysis and opinion. Facts are sourced; analysis is reasoned from those facts; forecasts are clearly framed as views that can be wrong. Trade ideas always state their invalidation level and risk-reward, the same discipline we built into the FXMARE trading journal.

Independence, Advertising & Affiliates

FXMARE is free to use and funded by advertising and affiliate partnerships. That funding never influences our editorial judgement. Advertisers and sponsors have no input into our analysis, news or ratings, and cannot review content before it is published.

Advertising is always labelled — as an ad unit, “Sponsored” placement or native unit — and kept visually distinct from editorial. Our broker ratings are produced independently using a fixed methodology; when a link is an affiliate or paid placement, we disclose it on the page. A sponsored broker still has to meet the same review criteria as any other.

Corrections Policy

We aim to get it right the first time, but when we make a factual error we correct it promptly and transparently. Minor fixes (typos, formatting) are made silently. Material corrections — anything that changes the meaning of a figure, quote or conclusion — are noted in the article with what was changed and when.

If you spot an error, please tell us. Email [email protected] or use our contact form. We review every report and respond to legitimate correction requests quickly.

Use of AI & Automation

We use software to surface data, format tables and flag market moves. Broker reviews, ratings, guides and educational walkthroughs are researched, written and reviewed by the FXMARE editorial & research team.

Two surfaces are produced by machine, and each says so on the page itself rather than only here:

  • Market news briefs are AI-assisted and carry the news desk byline.
  • The daily technical summaries in Analysis that are labelled Generated automatically are written by a language model and published without a person reading them first. They are not editorial opinion and carry no forecast. The directional bias and every price level in them are computed by FXMARE from real daily price history (RSI 14, SMA 20/50/200, MACD 12/26/9) before the model is called — the model describes those values and cannot originate a number or choose a direction. Each draft is checked automatically for advice language, forecasting language, first-person framing and any number that is not a restatement of the supplied data, and is discarded outright if it fails. The model that wrote a piece is named at the top of it, and at most one such piece is published per day.

We review that output regularly and unpublish anything that falls short. Nothing on FXMARE, written by a person or by a machine, is personalised financial advice.

Not Financial Advice

FXMARE content is for information and education only and does not constitute personalised financial, investment or trading advice. Trading forex, CFDs and leveraged products is high-risk and most retail accounts lose money. Always do your own research and consider your circumstances before trading.
