Market Edge

Market Edge scans all 8 major forex pairs and gold (XAU/USD) every 15 minutes, scoring each one on four reads — Structural Bias (positioning and multi-week fundamentals), Tactical Bias (near-term technicals and flow), Execution Readiness (whether now is a sensible time to act) and Confidence (how much weight to give the read). Every number is computed by code from real technicals, CFTC positioning, verified news and the live economic calendar — an AI model only narrates an already-computed score, it never sets one.

Methodology disclosure: two inputs have no licensed data source connected yet — the macro-strength differential inside Structural Bias (normally 35% of that score) and the economic-surprise component inside Tactical Bias. Both run at reduced weight today: the remaining real components are renormalized to 100% of the available weight rather than a fabricated number filling the gap. Read the full breakdown on the methodology page.

How to use Market Edge

Use the divergence and alignment lists above to spot which pairs currently show the strongest conviction, then open a pair's full page for its component breakdown, scenarios and source evidence. Market Edge is designed to sit alongside the rest of FXMARE's tools, not replace them: check live forex rates and gold's own quote page for the underlying price action, the economic calendar for what's scheduled next, our market sentiment read for positioning context, and market analysis for the narrative behind the numbers.

Frequently asked questions

What is FXMARE Market Edge?

Market Edge is a deterministic scanner that scores all 8 major forex pairs plus gold (XAU/USD) on four reads — Structural Bias, Tactical Bias, Execution Readiness and Confidence — recomputed every 15 minutes from real technicals, CFTC positioning, verified news and the live economic calendar.

Is any of Market Edge's output written by AI?

Every number you see is computed by code first. An AI model is only used to narrate an already-computed score into plain-English summaries, scenarios and driver commentary — it never sets a score itself, and any AI output that cites a number or source not already in the underlying data is rejected before it is ever shown.

Why do Structural Bias and Tactical Bias carry a reduced-weight note?

Two of the model's inputs — the macro-strength differential inside Structural Bias and the economic-surprise component inside Tactical Bias — have no licensed data source connected yet. Rather than fake those numbers or hide the gap, we reweight the remaining, real components to 100% of the available weight and disclose it plainly. See the full methodology page for the exact weights involved.

What do 'Aligned' and 'Conflicting' mean on the hub?

A pair is 'Aligned' when its Structural Bias and Tactical Bias agree on direction (both bullish or both bearish). It is labelled 'Conflicting' when the two disagree, or 'Neutral' when either read is itself neutral — neither a true conflict nor an agreement.

How often do scores update?

A scan runs every 15 minutes recomputing Structural, Tactical, Execution and Confidence for every pair. Currency strength and the AI narration each run on their own separate cadence — see the data sources page for real, per-source freshness limits rather than one blanket number.

Is Market Edge trading advice?

No. Market Edge is an educational, data-driven read on current market structure and positioning, not a signal service or personalised recommendation. Always do your own research and manage risk according to your own circumstances.
